Perth Villa | Redefining Contemporary Living Through Integrated Customization

In this project, Baodao Home centers its design approach on “integration and a sense of order,” systematically combining functionality, storage, and spatial expression to create a living environment that balances practicality with cohesive aesthetics.

From the perspective of the floor plan, the project clearly defines different functional zones through well-organized circulation. By structuring the layout thoughtfully, it achieves a natural transition between public and private areas. On this basis, the custom cabinetry system is seamlessly embedded into key spatial nodes, enabling an integrated expression of storage and architectural structure.

The entryway features an integrated shoe cabinet design that combines storage, display, and everyday functionality into a unified solution. The open shelving in the middle serves as a visual focal point, enhancing spatial layering while increasing flexibility of use. Meanwhile, the suspended base design allows for convenient daily shoe changing, achieving a balance between functionality and refined detailing.

The living area continues the overall restrained design language, combining generous negative space with wood finishes to create a clean and composed spatial atmosphere. Custom cabinetry is seamlessly integrated with the wall structure, reducing the visual effect of “layered furniture” and resulting in a more cohesive and unified space.

In the bedroom and walk-in closet areas, the design places greater emphasis on storage efficiency and user experience. Through the use of built-in cabinetry and well-defined zoning, clothing and accessories are organized in a clear and orderly manner. At the same time, a combination of open and closed storage elements accommodates different needs, achieving a balance between functionality and aesthetics.

In addition, functional spaces such as the laundry room are also incorporated into the overall customization system. Through the integration of built-in appliances and cabinetry, space utilization is maximized, ensuring that each area maintains a clear functional logic and a clean, organized visual appearance.

Overall, this project no longer centers on individual products, but instead takes a “holistic spatial solution” as its starting point. Through a unified design language and a systematic customization approach, it achieves a cohesive expression from the entryway to all functional areas. This design method—evolving from individual elements to an integrated whole—not only enhances the living experience, but also reflects the ongoing shift of contemporary whole-home customization toward a more systemized and spatially driven approach.
